Overview
Your profile contains personal information used for check-ins, emergency contact, and account access. As a staff member, you can update most of your own information to ensure you receive important notifications and can be contacted during emergencies.
Who Can Manage Profiles
All staff members can manage their own profile information. Site Administrators can also update staff profiles when needed.
Accessing Your Profile Settings
Web Application
- Sign in to https://reggiefiredrill.co.uk
- Click on your name or profile icon in the top navigation
- Select "Profile" or "Account Settings" from the dropdown menu
Mobile Application
- Open the Reggie® app
- Navigate to the "More" tab in the bottom navigation
- Tap "Profile" or "Account Settings"
Profile Information You Can Update
Personal Details
Profile Photo
- Used to personalise your profile page, and on certain screens of the fire drill
Email Address
- Primary contact method and sign-in credential
- Used for system notifications and emergency alerts
- Must be unique across the system
Mobile Number
- Used for emergency calls during fire drills
- Can be used as a sign-in method
- May receive SMS notifications if enabled
- Required for Fire Marshals to contact you during emergencies
Account Security
Password
- Your account sign-in password
- Should be strong and unique to Reggie®
- Changed regularly for security
Managing Email Addresses
Primary Email Address
- This is the email address you use to sign in to Reggie®
- All system notifications are sent to this address
- Must be unique - no two users can share the same email address
Adding Additional Email Addresses
- In your profile settings, look for "Add Email Address"
- Enter the new email address
- Click "Add" or "Save"
- Check the new email address for a verification link
- Click the verification link to confirm the address
Changing Your Primary Email
- First add the new email address (see above)
- Verify the new email address by clicking the verification link
- In your profile settings, select "Make Primary" next to the new email
- You can then remove the old email address if desired
- Use your new email address for future sign-ins
Email Verification
- New email addresses must be verified before they become active
- Check both your inbox and spam folder for verification messages
- Verification links expire after 24 hours - request a new one if needed
Managing Mobile Numbers
Primary Mobile Number
- Used for emergency contact during fire drills
- Fire Marshals can call this number if you need to be reached
- May receive SMS notifications depending on your organisation's settings
Required Format for UK Numbers
Correct formats:
7123456789(UK mobile without leading zero)+447123456789(UK mobile with country code)
Incorrect formats:
07123456789(don't include leading zero)447123456789(don't miss out the + symbol)- Avoid spaces, brackets, or other special characters
Adding Additional Mobile Numbers
- In your profile settings, look for "Add Phone Number"
- Enter the mobile number using the correct format
- Click "Add" or "Save"
- The number becomes available immediately for emergency contact
Mobile Number Verification
- Some features may require mobile number verification
- You'll receive an SMS with a verification code if required
- Enter the code when prompted in the application
Password Management
Changing Your Password
- In your profile settings, find the "Password" section on the Security screen
- Enter your current password
- Enter your new password
- Confirm your new password by typing it again
- Click "Update Password" or "Change Password"
Password Requirements
Your new password should be:
- At least 8 characters long
- Include a mix of letters, numbers, and symbols
- Different from your previous passwords
- Unique to Reggie® (don't reuse passwords from other accounts)
If You've Forgotten Your Current Password
- Sign out of Reggie®
- On the sign-in page, click "Forgot Password?"
- Enter your email address
- Check your email for password reset instructions
- Follow the link in the email to create a new password
Profile Information Guidelines
Keep Information Current
Update immediately if:
- Your mobile number changes
- Your email address changes
- Your name changes (marriage, deed poll, etc.)
- You stop checking a particular email address regularly
Professional vs Personal Information
Email addresses:
- Use your work email address where possible
- Ensure it's an address you check regularly during work hours
- Avoid personal email addresses that might be discontinued
Mobile numbers:
- Use a number where you can be reached during work hours
- Consider work mobile if provided by your organisation
- Ensure it's a number you'll keep long-term
Emergency Contact Considerations
Your mobile number may be used:
- To contact you during actual fire emergencies
- When Fire Marshals need to reach you during drills
- For urgent safety-related communications
Ensure your number:
- Is always accessible when you're on-site
- Has good reception in your work areas
- Is kept charged and working
Notification Settings
Email Notifications
You'll receive emails for:
- Important system updates
- Account security notifications
- Password reset confirmations
Push Notifications (Mobile App)
You'll receive push notifications for:
- Fire drill start announcements
- Sign-in reminders (if you haven't used the app for 55+ days)
- Important safety alerts
Managing Notifications
- Email notifications cannot be disabled for safety reasons
- Push notifications can be managed in your phone's settings
- Contact your Site Administrator if you have concerns about notification frequency
Troubleshooting Profile Issues
Problem: Can't Update Email Address
Possible causes:
- The new email address is already registered to another user
- Invalid email format
- System connectivity issues
Solutions:
- Check the email format is correct (contains @ and valid domain)
- Try a different email address
- Contact your Site Administrator if the issue persists
Problem: Not Receiving Verification Emails
Solutions:
- Check your spam/junk folder thoroughly
- Add

- Contact Reggie® support via live chat if still not receiving emails
Problem: Mobile Number Not Accepted
Solutions:
- Remove any spaces, brackets, or special characters
- Don't include the leading zero for UK numbers
- Use format:
7123456789or+447123456789 - Try entering the number in a different format
- Contact Reggie® support via live chat if problems continue
Problem: Password Won't Update
Solutions:
- Ensure your current password is entered correctly
- Check that your new password meets all requirements
- Make sure both new password fields match exactly
- Try using a different browser if the issue persists
- Contact Reggie® support via live chat for technical assistance
Data Privacy and Security
Information Usage
- Your profile information is used only for fire safety and emergency procedures
- Information is not shared with third parties without your consent
- You can request a copy of your data at any time
Data Retention
- Your profile remains active while you're employed by your organisation
- Inactive accounts are handled according to your organisation's data retention policy
- Contact your Site Administrator about account deletion if you leave the company
Profile Security
- Never share your login credentials with anyone
- Sign out when using shared or public computers
- Report suspicious account activity to your Site Administrator immediately

Changes You Can Make Yourself

Changes Requiring Administrator Help
- Name changes (legal name updates)
- Site assignments and access
- User role changes
- Account deactivation or deletion
When Changes Take Effect
- Most profile updates are immediate
- Email changes require verification before becoming active
- Some changes may require you to sign out and back in
Important: Keep your profile information current and accurate. This ensures you can be contacted during emergencies and receive important safety notifications.
