Accessing the Web Application

Overview

The web application provides full access to your fire drill system from any internet-connected device with a web browser. You can check in and out, manage fire drills, and access administrative features depending on your user role.

Who Can Use This

All users can access the web application with their account credentials.

Getting to the Web Application

Step 1: Open Your Web Browser

You can use any modern web browser including:

  • Google Chrome
  • Mozilla Firefox
  • Safari
  • Microsoft Edge

Step 2: Navigate to the Application

  1. Type the following address into your browser's address bar: https://reggiefiredrill.co.uk
  2. Press Enter or click Go

Step 3: Sign In

  1. Enter your email address in the Email field
  2. Enter your password in the Password field
  3. Click the "Sign In" button

First-Time Access

If You Haven't Set a Password Yet

  1. Check your email for an invitation from the system
  2. Click the link in the email to set up your password
  3. Follow the prompts to create a secure password
  4. Return to https://reggiefiredrill.co.uk and sign in

If You Can't Find Your Invitation Email

  1. Check your spam/junk folder
  2. Contact your Site Administrator to resend the invitation
  3. Ensure they have your correct email address

Navigating the Web Application

Dashboard Overview

Once signed in, you'll see your dashboard which includes:

  • Your current check-in status
  • Site cards for manual check-in/check-out
  • Navigation menu for accessing other features

Main Navigation Menu

Located at the top of the page, the menu provides access to:

  • Dashboard - Your main overview page
  • Profile - Manage your account settings
  • Additional options based on your user role (Fire Drills, Staff Management, etc.)

Browser Requirements

Supported Browsers

  • Google Chrome (recommended)
  • Mozilla Firefox
  • Safari (Mac/iOS)
  • Microsoft Edge

Browser Settings

  • JavaScript must be enabled - Required for the application to function
  • Cookies must be allowed - Needed to keep you signed in
  • Pop-ups should be allowed - Some features open in new windows

Signing Out

  • Click the navigation bar, top left of your screen
  • Click anywhere on your email address (located at the bottom of the menu drawer)
  • Select "Sign Out" from the options
  • Always sign out when using shared or public computers

Troubleshooting Access Issues

Problem: Page Won't Load

Solutions:

  1. Check your internet connection
  2. Try refreshing the page (Ctrl+F5 or Cmd+Shift+R)
  3. Clear your browser cache and cookies
  4. Try a different browser

Problem: Can't Remember Password

Solutions:

  1. Click "Forgot Password?" on the sign-in page
  2. Enter your email address
  3. Check your email for password reset instructions
  4. Contact your Site Administrator if you don't receive the email

Problem: Account Locked

Solutions:

  1. Contact the Reggie® support team via live chat
  2. We can reset your access

Problem: Wrong Email Address

Solutions:

  1. Ensure you're using the email address your organisation has on file
  2. Contact your Site Administrator to update your email address
  3. Check if you have multiple email addresses and try alternatives

Mobile App Alternative

When to Use the Web App Instead of Mobile

  • Your mobile app isn't working properly
  • You need to access administrative features (Staff Management, detailed reporting)
  • You're working from a computer and prefer the larger screen
  • You need to check in visitors manually

Synchronisation

Your data synchronises automatically between the web application and mobile app. Actions taken on one platform will update on the other.

Security Best Practices

Keeping Your Account Secure

  • Never share your login credentials
  • Use a strong, unique password
  • Sign out when using shared computers
  • Report suspicious activity to your administrator

Data Protection

  • The application uses secure HTTPS encryption
  • Your personal information is protected according to UK data protection laws
  • Session data is automatically cleared when you sign out
