Using Your Dashboard

Overview

Your dashboard is the main screen you'll see when you sign in to Reggie®. It shows your current check-in status, allows you to check in and out of your sites, and provides quick access to your account settings.

Who Can Use This

All staff members can access and use the dashboard features.

Accessing Your Dashboard

Web Application

  1. Go to https://reggiefiredrill.co.uk
  2. Sign in with your email and password
  3. The dashboard loads automatically after sign-in

Mobile Application

  1. Open the Reggie® mobile app
  2. Sign in if prompted
  3. The dashboard is the main screen that appears

Dashboard Layout

Check-in Status Display

Towards the bottom of your dashboard, under the Your Sites heading, you'll see your current status:

  • "You are currently checked in at [Site Name]" - Shows which site you're currently checked in to
  • "You are not currently checked in" - You're not currently registered at any site

Site Cards Section

Under "Your Sites" (web) or "Are you arriving or departing?" (mobile), you'll see cards for each site you have access to:

  • Site Name - The name of your workplace location
  • Check-in button - Click/tap to register your arrival
  • Check-out button - Click/tap to register your departure
  • Current status - Shows if you're currently checked in to this site

Automatic Check-in Controls (Mobile Only)

On the mobile app, you'll see:

  • "Automatic Check-in/out" toggle
  • Enabled - Automatic location-based check-ins are active
  • Disabled - You'll need to check in manually

Using Check-in Features

Manual Check-in

  1. Find the site card for your current location
  2. Click/tap the "Check-in" button
  3. Your status will update to show you're checked in
  4. You'll now be included in emergency procedures for that site

Manual Check-out

  1. Find the site card for the location you're leaving
  2. Click/tap the "Check-out" button
  3. Your status will update to show you're not currently checked in
  4. You'll be removed from that site's emergency procedures

Multiple Sites

If you have access to multiple sites:

  • You'll see a separate card for each site
  • You can only be checked in to one site at a time
  • Checking in to a new site automatically checks you out of your previous location

Dashboard Navigation

Web Application Menu

The main navigation menu includes:

  • Dashboard - Returns you to the main overview
  • Profile - Manage your account settings and personal information

Mobile Application Navigation

  • Dashboard - The main screen (home icon)
  • More - Access to profile and additional settings

Understanding Your Status

When You're Checked In

  • Your dashboard shows "You are currently checked in at [Site Name]"
  • You'll receive fire drill notifications for that site
  • You're included in emergency headcounts

When You're Not Checked In

  • Your dashboard shows "You are not currently checked in"
  • You won't receive fire drill notifications
  • You're not included in emergency procedures

Status Updates

  • Status changes appear immediately after check-in/check-out
  • If you don't see an update, refresh the page/app
  • Status synchronises between web and mobile platforms

Automatic Check-in Dashboard Features (Mobile)

Enabling Automatic Check-ins

  1. On your mobile dashboard, find "Automatic Check-in/out"
  2. Toggle the switch to "Enabled"
  3. Follow the location permission prompts
  4. Your dashboard will show automatic check-ins are active

Monitoring Automatic Check-ins

  • Check your status regularly to ensure automatic check-ins are working
  • If you don't receive a check-in notification, verify your status manually
  • Remember: it's your responsibility to ensure you're properly checked in

Disabling Automatic Check-ins

  1. Find the "Automatic Check-in/out" toggle on your dashboard
  2. Switch it to "Disabled"
  3. You'll need to use manual check-ins from then on

Dashboard Notifications and Alerts

Fire Drill Notifications

When a fire drill starts at your checked-in site:

  • You'll receive a push notification (if settings allow)
  • Please follow evacuation procedures
  • Continue using the app only after reaching your assembly point

Check-in Reminders

  • You may receive reminders if you haven't checked in for extended periods
  • These help ensure you're properly registered when on-site

Troubleshooting Dashboard Issues

Problem: Dashboard Won't Load

Solutions:

  1. Check your internet connection
  2. Refresh the page (web) or restart the app (mobile)
  3. Sign out and back in
  4. Contact Reggie® support via live chat if issues persist

Problem: Site Not Showing

Solutions:

  1. Contact your Site Administrator to verify you're assigned to the site
  2. Check if you're signed in with the correct email address
  3. Refresh your dashboard

Problem: Check-in Status Wrong

Solutions:

  1. Use manual check-in to correct your status immediately
  2. Refresh the dashboard to see updated status
  3. If automatic check-ins aren't working, switch to manual check-ins

Problem: Can't Access Features

Solutions:

  1. Verify your user role with your Site Administrator
  2. Some features are only available to Fire Marshals and Administrators
  3. Ensure you're assigned to the correct site

Dashboard Best Practices

Regular Status Checks

  • Check your dashboard when you arrive at work
  • Verify your status if you're unsure about check-in
  • Use the dashboard to confirm check-out when leaving

Keeping Information Current

  • Update your profile if your contact details change
  • Report access issues to your Site Administrator promptly
  • Test both manual and automatic check-ins regularly

During Emergencies

  • Don't rely solely on the dashboard during emergencies
  • Follow your workplace evacuation procedures first
  • Use the dashboard for check-ins only after reaching safety

Privacy and Security

Information Display

  • Your dashboard only shows your own check-in information
  • You cannot see other staff members' check-in status
  • Personal information is kept secure and private

Session Security

  • You'll be automatically signed out of the mobile app after 60 days of inactivity
  • Always sign out when using shared devices
  • Report any suspicious account activity to your Site Administrator
