Quick Start Guide: Mobile App Setup with Auto Check-ins

Step 1: Download and Install

iPhone Users

1. Open the App Store
2. Search for "Reggie® Fire Drill"
3. Tap "Get" to download

Android Users

1. Open the Play Store
2. Search for "Reggie® Fire Drill"
3. Tap "Install" to download

Step 2: Sign In

1. Open the app once installed
2. Sign in with your email and password from your Reggie^® invitation
3. Alternative: Tap "Use mobile" to sign in with your registered phone number

Step 3: Allow Notifications

• When prompted, select "Allow" for notifications
• Important: Notifications tell you when fire drills start and confirm check-ins

Step 4: Enable Automatic Check-ins

For iPhone:

1. On your dashboard, scroll to "Are you arriving or departing?"
2. Tap the toggle next to "Automatic Check-in/out Disabled"
3. When prompted "Allow Reggie^® to use your location?" → Select "Allow While Using App"
4. Next prompt "Allow Reggie^® to also use your location even when you are not using the app" → Select "Change to Always Allow"
5. Done! Auto check-ins are now enabled

For Android:

1. On your dashboard, scroll to "Are you arriving or departing?"
2. Tap the toggle next to "Automatic Check-in/out Disabled"
3. When prompted "Allow Reggie^® to access this device's location?" → Select "While using the app"
4. Next prompt about background location → Tap "Continue"
5. On the location settings screen → Change to "Allow all the time"
6. Return to the Reggie^® app
7. Done! Auto check-ins are now enabled

You're All Set!

What Happens Now:

• Arriving at work: You'll get a notification "You've been checked in at [Site Name]"
• Leaving work: You'll be automatically checked out
• Android users: You'll see a persistent notification (this is normal and required)

Your Responsibility:

• Always verify your status - check your dashboard occasionally
• If no notification received: Manually check in using the app
• It's your responsibility to ensure you're checked in when on-site

Quick Troubleshooting

Auto check-ins not working?

• Check location permissions are set to "Always" or "All the time"
• Verify notifications are enabled
• Use manual check-in as backup

Can't find the app in the store?

• Check you're searching for "Reggie® Fire Drill" exactly
• Ensure your device meets system requirements
• Contact Reggie^® support via live chat

Sign-in issues?

• Check you're using the email/password from your invitation
• Try the "Use mobile" option if you registered a phone number
