Essential Info: You have all Fire Marshal abilities plus visitor management and staff administration. Most admin features are web-only.

How to Check in Visitors Manually (Web Only)

  1. Go to https://reggiefiredrill.co.uk
  2. Menu → "Visitor Management" or "Manual Visitor Check-in"
  3. Enter visitor details:
    • First Name (required)
    • Last Name (required)
    • Mobile Number (optional - use format 7123456789 or 447123456789)
  4. Click "Submit" or "Check In Visitor"
  5. Verify they appear on today's visitor list

How to View Today's Check-ins (Web Only)

Staff Check-ins

  • Menu → "Staff"
  • See who's currently checked in and arrival/departure times

Visitor Check-ins

  • Menu → "Visitors"
  • See today's visitors and their details
  • Check out visitors: Click the check-out icon next to their name

QR Code Management Basics

QR Code Placement

  • Yellow toblerone cards with check-in (left) and check-out (right) QR codes
  • Place at: Main entrance, reception, visitor entrances
  • Ensure: Eye level, well-lit, protected from weather

Daily Checks

  • Verify QR codes are in position and clean
  • Test scanning occasionally
  • Replace if damaged or not working
  • Contact Reggie® support via live chat for replacements

Fire Drill Management

You can do everything Fire Marshals can do:

  • Start drills: Menu → Fire Drills → Start Fire Drill
  • Mark attendance: Present (green), Offsite (orange), Absent (red)
  • End drills: Answer questions and click "End Drill"
  • View history: Menu → Archives

Common Issues and Quick Fixes

Visitor Issues

QR code not working?

  • Test with different device
  • Use manual check-in as backup

Visitor not appearing on list?

  • Check they completed required fields (first/last name)
  • Verify successful form submission
  • Add them manually if needed

Staff Issues

Staff can't check in?

  • Verify they're assigned to the site
  • Check their user permissions
  • Help them try alternative platform (web/mobile)
