Quick Start Guide: Fire Marshals

Essential Info: You can start drills, manage attendees, and access fire drill history. Multiple Fire Marshals can work on the same drill.

How to Start a Fire Drill

Web App

Go to https://reggiefiredrill.co.uk
Menu → "Fire Drills" → "Start Fire Drill"
Click "Start Drill" in the popup

Mobile App

Open Reggie^® app
Tap "Fire Drills" in bottom nav (or More → Fire Drills)
Tap "Start Fire Drill"
Tap "Start Drill" in the popup

How to Mark Attendance

Use filters to organise the list (Staff only, Visitors only, A-Z groups, Teams)
Mark each person:
- Green (Present) - Found at assembly point
- Orange (Offsite) - Confirmed not on-site today
- Red (Absent) - Should be here but can't find them
Call attendees using the call button if needed
Work with other Fire Marshals - you'll see real-time updates

How to End a Fire Drill

Ensure everyone is marked with a status
Click "View Summary"
Answer the questions:
- "Was this a fire drill or real fire?" - Select appropriate option
- "Notes" - Add observations about the drill
Click "End Drill"
Download/share the PDF report from the summary screen

View Today's Check-ins (Web Only)

Staff Check-ins: Menu → "Staff"
Visitor Check-ins: Menu → "Visitors"
Use these to verify who should be in your drill

Access Fire Drill History

Menu → "Fire Drill Archives"
Click download button next to any drill for the PDF report

Quick Troubleshooting

Can't start a drill?

Check you have Fire Marshal permissions
Look for "Fire Drills" in your menu
Contact your Site Administrator if missing

No staff showing in drill?

Check people are actually checked in
Use backup manual procedures if needed

Can't end drill?

Ensure every person has a status (Present/Offsite/Absent)
Check all required questions are answered

Real emergency: Follow standard procedures - app is secondary to safety

Remember: Once you start a drill, you must complete it. You can't cancel - only finish by marking everyone and answering questions.
