Installing the Reggie® Fire Drill app is a simple process. Follow these steps to get started:
- Download the app: Visit the Play Store on your Android device, and search for the Reggie® Fire Drill app. Click 'Install', to download to your device.
- Open the app: Open the app to run through first time installation.
- Sign in: Sign in with the email address and password you set when you were invited to join Reggie®. If you'd prefer to sign in with the mobile number registered to your Reggie® account, click 'Use mobile' to the right of the email address field.
- Allow notifications: It's important that you allow the Reggie® Fire Drill app to send you notifications. Notifications are sent to your device when you are checked in to (and out of) a site that you're assigned to. When prompted, please select 'Allow'.
- Turn on automatic check-ins: From the dashboard, scroll down until you see 'Are you arriving or departing?'. Click on the toggle next to 'Automatic Check-in/out Disabled'. You'll see a prompt, "Allow Reggie® to access this device's location?". Select 'While using the app'.
- Allow background check-ins: After selecting 'While using the app' on the previous prompt, the next prompt will ask you to allow background location, even when the app is closed. This is essential for automatic check-in/out. Click 'Continue'.
- Update location permissions: The next screen will show your location permission settings for Reggie®. Please change the setting to 'Allow all the time'. You can then go back to the Reggie® app, and automatic check-ins will now work, even if the app is closed.
